In addition to the live, attenuated or inactive virus, pathogen or toxoid, the Hep A (Vaqta) vaccine contains the following ingredients:
- amorphous aluminum hydroxyphosphate sulfate
- calf bovine serum
- DNA
- formaldehyde
- human diploid cell cultures (MRC-5)
- neomycin
- non-viral protein
- sodium borate
- sodium chloride
