Vaccine Ingredients
In addition to the live, attenuated or inactive virus, pathogen or toxoid, the Tdap (Adacel) vaccine contains the following ingredients:
- 2-phenoxyethanol
- aluminum phosphate
- ammonium sulfate
- casamino acids
- dimethyl-beta-cyclodextrin
- formaldehyde
- glutaraldehyde
- modified Mueller-Miller casamino acid medium without beef heart infusion
- modified Mueller's growth medium
- Stainer-Scholte medium
